patricio espinoza
Patricio is an Emmy award-winning Journalist & New Media Specialist. For more than two decades, he has worked with traditional broadcast media from CNN to ABC, Univision, and A&E. An early “cybernaut” Patricio has been on-line since the mid ’80s when the internet was a black screen and only text. He is originally from Ecuador, and his first job was as a handyman at a CBS station in San Diego, California. As a Journalist, Patricio values the ability to make a difference, to give a voice to those who may not have one. He is a McCormick and a Poynter fellow. When Patricio is not on assignment, you will find him tinkering with and exploring the new online frontiers and the future of Digital Journalism. “It’s a new interactive world out there, and the square box in your living room or the daily paper at a street corner are no longer the only option” more about patricio
