The SAAF is located in Sheila McNeil’s District.  Word is the council woman is yet to meet to learn more about their needs.  Diane Cibrian, however, in her City Council role has met with the group already.  It’s not confirmed if any of the Mayoral candidates will attend the benefit.   During at least one community forum, some of the candidates, including Julian Castro and Diane Cibrian have expressed their support of Gay rights in San Antonio.
