Only 60 days away to election day May 9, 2009, Councilwoman Sheila McNeil announced today she is ready and running for Mayor of San Antonio.

“It’s not money that wins races; it’s the voice of the people…”

McNeil said today at a presser in front of City Hall when questioned as to whether or not she had enough time to raise campaign contributions. Immediately after, she filed her paperwork with the City Clerk and requested a place in the May ballot.

McNeil is running for Mayor to raise $$$ and name recognition for her campaign for commissioner’s court.
